It all started as a way to combine getting a run in at my favorite micro-brew pub, and now I'd love to expand it further! We'll use this group as a way to do our Iron Springs Pub Runs, both winter and summer, but also to introduce more training runs, both trail and road, both on the streets of San Anselmo, Ross and Fairfax and the trails of Mt. Tam!
There are so many hiking groups, but I wanted to start a group for runners like me that prefer to run the trails than the streets.

… I created this group because I always find myself running the beautiful coastal running trail in the San Leandro Marina (although it spans to San Lorenzo, Hayward, Fremont) and just thought that running and fitness would be a lot more fun and motivating if I could meet, run and exercise with awesome people in the local community who could help each other achieve our fitness goals. It's time to stop giving ourselves excuses to NOT exercise... Here's the game plan: My plan is to challeng …

… The SheEOs, made up of female entrepreneurs who stepped off the corporate ladder to blaze their own trail, are a new breed. For Sarah Biller, who’s on her third start-up, Capital Market Exchange, being a SheEO allows her to strengthen her negotiation skills — including preparation and drive — in order to be more effective in a “testosterone heavy’’ environment. “In the world I operate in, you see a lot of tough negotiating and fist banging. It’s a great reminder to be in a group that understa …
